All bugs, bosses & powerups explained
← BACK TO GAMEThe standard bug that spawns throughout the levels. Click it before it escapes! Escape time gets shorter with each level: 5s → 3.8s → 3.2s.
A tricky bug inspired by the "Heisenbug" phenomenon. When you click it, it teleports away! You need to catch it 3 times. Worth triple points but escapes 15% faster than normal bugs.
"It's not a bug, it's a feature!" These peaceful bugs don't hurt your HP if they escape. But be careful - you lose 10 HP if you click them! Starts appearing from Level 2.
A dangerous bug that grows every 0.5 seconds. You must CLICK AND HOLD to free the memory - but it keeps growing while you hold! Hold time increases with each stage (0.4s/0.6s/0.8s/1s). In multiplayer, multiple players can hold simultaneously - each additional player multiplies the progress speed! All holders share the points reward. Release too early and you'll have to start over.
Two bugs representing conflicting code branches. Click both within 1.5s to "resolve the conflict" and earn bonus points! If they escape together, they deal double damage (30 HP). Only spawns in multiplayer.
A chain of bugs connected by purple dotted lines, slithering across the arena like a snake. You must squash them in order — click bug #1 first, then #2, then #3, and so on. Clicking out of order resets the chain! Clear the whole chain for a 40-point deployment bonus.
A cyan bug trapped in an infinite loop, endlessly orbiting along a visible elliptical path. You can't click the bug directly — instead, watch for the red breakpoint marker on the loop. Click the breakpoint at the exact moment the bug passes through it to break the cycle. Miss the timing and nothing happens — but the bug will eventually escape if you don't act!
The clingy intern who won't leave you alone! This pixel-art character follows your cursor around the arena, blocking your clicks on the bugs underneath. While following you, it spawns additional bugs right near your cursor — half normal bugs, half feature bugs. You can't kill it; just wait it out!
Smaller bugs spawned by the Mega Bug during the boss fight. They behave like normal bugs but spawn continuously. Spawn rate and max on-screen increase as the boss progresses through phases.
The ultimate challenge! A massive bug that takes many clicks to defeat. Click it repeatedly while managing its minions. Evolves through three distinct phases:
Victory Conditions: Deplete boss HP to 0 within 120 seconds.
Defeat Conditions: Time runs out or team HP reaches 0.
The legendary rubber duck from "rubber duck debugging"! Click it to activate a powerful buff that doubles all point gains for 6 seconds. Chase it down before it disappears - it wanders around the arena.
A powerful emergency tool! Click it to release a shockwave that freezes every bug and the boss in place for 2 seconds, giving your team breathing room. Great for buying time when overwhelmed.

All point rewards are scaled by a multiplier based on the selected difficulty:
Easy: 0.5x score
Medium: 1x score (default)
Hard: 1.5x score
Example: A 10-point bug is worth 5 on Easy, 10 on Medium, and 15 on Hard. This applies to all scoring — bugs, powerups, boss clicks, and bonuses.
Click bugs that are about to escape first. Heisenbugs need more time - start them early!
Feature bugs (sparkling) don't hurt if they escape. Let them go if you're busy with dangerous bugs.
Purple bugs require click-and-hold. In multiplayer, work together - each extra player makes it faster! They grow while held, so commit early!
In multiplayer, communicate to resolve merge conflicts together within the resolve window!
Pipeline bugs must be squashed in order. Track the snake's head (#1) and click down the chain. Wrong clicks reset the whole thing!
Activate the rubber duck buff when multiple bugs are on screen for maximum point gain.
Split attention between the boss and minions. Don't let minions overwhelm you!
Stop clicking during the shield phase — save your clicks for when the boss is vulnerable. In Phase 3, clear minions to reduce swarm armor!
